Board Members

The Ripples of Regeneration Board brings together decades of frontline environmental organizing, international campaign strategy, and award-winning documentary storytelling rooted in lived commitment to justice, regeneration, and systems change.

Bridging water protection movements, sacred activism, global arts initiatives, and large-scale impact campaigns, we weave strategy, governance, and narrative into cohesive efforts that mobilize communities across continents.

Grounded in collaboration and guided by a deep belief in the power of story to shift culture, we design projects that move beyond awareness — cultivating alliances, measurable impact, and enduring pathways toward ecological and social renewal.

EMILY CORALYNE BISHOP

Founder & CEO

Emily Coralyne Bishop is Founder and CEO of Ripples of Regeneration, Inc., an impact organization that designs and leads film-based campaigns advancing regenerative solutions and systems change.

She began her path as a water protector and community organizer, supporting major campaigns to ban fracking in New York State and California. Emily graduated from SUNY Purchase College in 2012, where she studied Sociology, Community Organizing, and Social Change, with a focus on the politics and poetics of water. She is a long-time facilitator of the Work That Reconnects, designing and facilitating despair and empowerment rituals for activists in Europe and the United States.

With more than 15 years of experience in environmental organizing and fundraising, her work bridges storytelling, strategy, and movement-building to support films that drive measurable social and ecological impact. She is co-producer and impact campaign director of the award-winning documentary Water Is Love: Ripples of Regeneration, honored internationally and used as a tool for education, advocacy, and community engagement. She specializes in leading impact campaigns that extend a film’s life beyond the screen worldwide.

Martin Winiecki was born in Dresden, Germany and grew up in post-socialist East Germany, shaped early by struggles for justice, community, and solidarity. At sixteen, he joined a peace and ecology training at Tamera, a peace research center and intentional community in Portugal, where he lived for nineteen years as an educator, writer, communications director, curator, event organizer, network steward, and later a facilitator, mediator, and co-designer of a distributive governance system, while learning alongside frontline communities, elders, practitioners, and visionaries worldwide.

In 2017, inspired by the #NoDAPL movement at Standing Rock, he co-initiated the Defend the Sacred Alliance, convening over one hundred leaders from Indigenous movements, social struggles, and intentional communities in the practice of sacred activism.

That same period, he co-led a successful campaign that cancelled all existing fracking and offshore oil drilling contracts in Portugal. Since then, he has continued initiating water alliances and storytelling projects, including his role as co-director for Water is Love: Ripples of Regeneration.
